Member Service Representative

Summary:
Under general supervision and in compliance with established policies and procedures, the Member Service Representative is responsible for providing superior member service by conducting transactions accurately, assisting members with their financial goals, and promoting MEMBERS1st Community Credit Union products and services.
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests
- Identify member needs for appropriate products and services
- Assist with member inquiries, account updates, and membership sign-ups
- Minimizes fraud by thorough examination of documentation
- Assists with mail, night drop, and phone transactions
- Alerts loan officers to loan payoffs
- Handle cash management and cashiering duties
- Utilize 10-key typing skills for accurate data entry
- Perform basic retail math calculations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous cash-handling experience with ability to handle transactions accurately
TRAVEL:
- Limited travel expected. Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle required.
